| Description of Duties: | Dear Friends of the Seine River, Are you passionate about the health and future of the Seine River? Save Our Seine River Environment Inc. is inviting community members to put their names forward-or encourage others-to join our Board of Directors. This is a meaningful volunteer opportunity to help guide the protection, stewardship, and thoughtful development of the Seine River Greenway. Our Board supports a dynamic organization working in urban restoration and enhancement, environmental education, public engagement, and collaborative partnerships across Winnipeg. We are especially interested in individuals with experience in leadership, governance, community service, environmental stewardship, or nonprofit organizations. What Board service involves:
Serving on the SOS Board is an opportunity to build governance experience, expand your network, and make a tangible impact on our river and community. Deadline to apply: February 28, 2026 All candidates must meet the qualifications as specified in the SOS bylaws. Those include, but not limited to, being at least eighteen (18) years of age, a member of SOS and having a sound financial background.
