Description of Duties:

We're looking for a kind, handy, local volunteer who knows their way around sewing machines and enjoys helping others.


If you have experience cleaning, tuning, and repairing sewing machine's we'd love to have you join us! Your skills will help support our community by keeping our sewing machines in good working use for classes, projects, and neighbours who rely on them.


Tasks include:


-Clean, tune, and repair sewing machines


-Diagnose common mechanical issues


-Help keep our machines safe and reliable


-Share friendly advice and basic care tips when needed

Skills Required:

The role requires hands-on experience with sewing machine repair, including troubleshooting, cleaning, tuning, and replacing basic parts. Attention to detail, patience, and reliability are essential, along with the ability to explain repairs clearly and provide friendly support.
