| Description of Duties: | We are recruiting for the Spring 2026 school campaign and volunteers recruited are anticipated to start in April 2026. Our focus is on recruiting volunteers for schools in the following Winnipeg community areas: Inkster, Seven Oaks, River East, and St. James. Location: Takes place in various schools in Winnipeg. Summary of Duties: Assist with guiding students (typically in grades 6 to 8) through the immunization clinics including assisting with crowd control, monitoring students who look anxious and scared, and monitoring students post immunization. This is a seasonal volunteer role taking place in the Fall and Spring of each year. Clinics operate Monday to Friday during school hours between 8:15am - 3:30pm, with the majority of shifts scheduled in the mornings. A limited number of afternoon shifts may also be available. Each shift is typically 3 to 4 hours long. Fall clinics begin mid-September and go through November. Spring clinics begin in April and conclude mid-June. |
