Description of Duties:

Are you a talented content writer with a knack for crafting engaging copy for landing pages and websites? Can you work equally well with print-based media?

Winnipeg Kids Foundation is looking for a contract content writer/copywriter to help us develop our web presence and bring our marketing and media visions to life.

We manage 2-3 websites and multiple media formats at any given time, for two distinct brand kits. We're seeking team member who can consistently handle 1-3 projects on an ongoing basis, and as our needs develop.


What You'll Be Doing



  • Content Creation: Write persuasive and engaging copy for websites, landing pages, and print marketing in conjunction with our partnering web design and graphic design freelancers.

  • Weekly Calls: Be available for a weekly call every Monday to discuss project updates and feedback.

  • SEO Optimization: Research and write content that adheres to best SEO practices, incorporating target keywords for specific web pages. Transferring this vision into print marketing as needed.

  • Collaboration: Analyze and review inspiration gathered to ensure the content aligns with our vision.

  • AI Integration: Utilize AI tools to enhance the copywriting process.

   
Skills Required:

  • Experience: Proven copywriting experience with a portfolio of previous work.

  • Creativity: An innovative ability to create persuasive and engaging copy that succinctly conveys value.

  • SEO Knowledge: A solid understanding of SEO practices to ensure content is optimized for search engines.

  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills.

  • Tech-Savvy: Comfort using AI tools and adapting to new technologies to streamline the copywriting process.
