Description of Duties:

Grocery Shopper Volunteers assist clients in our Older Adult Services Program in grocery shopping on a bi-weekly basis. Volunteers will pick clients up from their home and take them to a selected grocery store to complete their shopping. Volunteers will assist clients in grocery shopping and return them home after the outing. Grocery Shopper Volunteers may also be asked to grocery shop for their client on their own and drop off their groceries at their home as some clients are unable to attend. Volunteers in this role must have a license and an insured vehicle and commit to a bi-weekly schedule of 1.5-2 hours per shift.

  • Possess a valid drivers license, insurance and reliable vehicle

  • Assist clients with mobilities issues if taking them out to shop.
