| Description of Duties: | Looking for a Farsi speaking person to visit with resident on a one to one visit. Visits may include games, reminiscing walks, Possibly attend group programs with resident and assist resident participation through translation. |
| Skills Required: | - Able to carry on a fluent conversation in Farsi. - Ability to motivate and encourage others. - Be a calming influence when necessary. - Must be 18 to apply. |

| Time Commitment: | Daytime , Evening , Weekend , Flexible Hours Time is flexible but requires minimum 1 hour per week with the resident you are assigned to engage with. The more time spent with the resident the stronger the therapeutic bond will be thus providing greater reward for both resident and volunteer. This volunteer opportunity will fall under the adopt a grandparent umbrella. The cornerstone philosophy of the adopt a grandparent program is to foster meaningful relationships with our residents and members of the community in an effort to enrich the lives of all participants involved. |
