| Organizational Description: | We are Resilia Our inclusive, trauma-informed mental health and well-being services help vulnerable, isolated individuals, couple and families with complex needs to find comfort, feel safe, and grow stronger because we reduce barriers, fight racism and nurture communities of resilience, dignity and hope. Language, culture, money, stigma or diversity are just some reasons people hesitate to access mental health supports. In response, our multilingual staff deliver culturally responsive, inclusive services that are either free, or an a sliding scale of affordability. | Time Commitment: | Daytime , Evening The Resilia Centre Board of Directors governs using a Policy Governance® model. The board meets a minimum of four times a year (excluding July, August and December), in addition to an Annual General Meeting on the last Monday of September of every year. Board members are expected to commit to attending all meetings over the course of a minimum of 3-year terms. Board meetings take place in the evening on the third Monday of the month when meetings are scheduled. |
