Organizational Description: The MS Society provides services to people with multiple sclerosis and their families and funds research to find the cause and cure for this disease. We have a membership of over 7,000 and are the only national voluntary organization in Canada that supports both MS research and services. Since our founding in 1948, the core support of the MS Society has been from tens of thousands of dedicated individuals, companies and foundations in communities across Canada. The Society receives almost no funding from government.

The MS Society is governed by a board of directors comprised of 14 volunteer members who are elected annually.

Some 1,500 volunteers serve on MS Society national, division and chapter boards and committees. An estimated 13,500 women and men are volunteers for service programs, fundraising events, public awareness campaigns and social action activities.

Description of Duties:

The 2026 MS Bike - East St Paul is taking place Saturday and Sunday, August 22 & 23, 2026. The ride departs from the East St. Paul Arena, loops through Selkirk, and returns to the arena.

MS Bike is the largest fundraising cycling series in North America. Cyclists of all ages and fitness levels across Canada come together each year to end Canada's disease: multiple sclerosis. With hundreds of participants, volunteers are needed to help with every aspect of the entire event. This is a great opportunity to make an impact in your community using your talent and time!

There are various areas on site (parking, food & beverage areas, bartending, finish line cheering and more) where volunteer help is needed to ensure that this event runs smoothly and participants have a great experience while they are biking to raise critical funds to support those effected by MS.

Volunteers under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult (18+).

Time Commitment:
Attend the event on Saturday, August 22 and/or Sunday, August 23, 2026 from 2-8 hours depending on your shift and commitment desire.
