Organizational Description: Culture Days raises the awareness, accessibility, participation and engagement of Canadians in the arts and cultural life of their communities. With the support of volunteer groups at the national, provincial and local levels, hundreds of thousands of artists, cultural workers, organizations and groups, volunteers and supporters self-mobilize to host free participatory public activities that take place in hundreds of cities and towns throughout the country over the last weekend of September each year. Additionally, Culture Days Manitoba represents and coordinates the events for Nuit Blanche Winnipeg.

Nuit Blanche Winnipeg is a free nighttime exploration and celebration of contemporary art. The annual event attracts thousands of people to the heart of the city.

Artists, galleries, cultural organizations and independent curators create and host their own events around the city. These events are FREE to the public and encourage and celebrate arts and culture in our community. Anyone interested in coordinating an event that celebrates contemporary visual art is welcome to register and host.
