Description of Duties:

Basketball Manitoba and the Winnipeg Minor Basketball Association are seeking passionate and dedicated volunteers to take on the role of head coach or assistant coach in our community basketball programs. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of young athletes while helping grow the game at the grassroots level.


As a coach, you will play a vital role in teaching basketball skills and concepts at team practices and games, with support from the area Convenor. You will be responsible for fostering a positive and inclusive team environment, communicating with players and parents, and helping athletes develop not just as basketball players, but also as individuals.


Volunteering as a youth basketball coach is a chance to give back to the sport, inspire the next generation, and be a mentor to young athletes.
