Description of Duties: The volunteer will provide information and sell confectionery and craft items from the volunteer Services Gift Shop in the lobby of CancerCare Manitoba.
Duties include:
Provide friendly assistance to patients and visitors to CancerCare Manitoba
Respond to general inquiries clearly and accurately
Sell snacks and craft items
Maintain accurate record of sales
Reconciliation of cash box and sales
Set up and take down of craft items in Gift Shop
   
Skills Required: The volunteer will need good communication skills to be able to give information clearly.
Empathy, patience and friendliness are required.
A good knowledge of the location of clinics and departments within CCMB is important.
The position requires accuracy in recording sales and handling cash.

Time Commitment:
Daytime

Currently seeking daytime availability, Monday - Friday.
Available for one shift per week.
Shift times include 8:30am-12:00pm or 12:00-3:30pm.
