| Description of Duties: | As the Volunteer Engagement Lead, you are responsible for recruiting volunteers for events leading up to the Run and on Run weekend. Working with fellow committee members, you determine how many event volunteers are needed and build a community outreach plan to engage volunteers. Through the management of your location's Run volunteer email account, driving registration of volunteers on the website, and giving updates to the committee at each meeting, you will excel in your role. On Run Day, you oversee volunteer schedules through volunteer sign-in, the distribution of t-shirts, redirecting volunteers as needed, verifying of hours, and thanking volunteers for their time and energy. Support and training on our online volunteer management software will be provided. |
