Organizational Description: Victoria Lifeline is the longest standing medical alarm service in Manitoba, helping people age in place safely for over 25 years. We help clients get the help they need at the press of a button, providing an added layer of security to everyday living.
Volunteer Opportunity Details
Description of Duties: Home Service Representatives support subscribers and prospective clients in living independently for as long as possible.
The Home Service Representative (HSR) will work directly with subscribers and caregivers to install, support, and explain the Lifeline service.
Skills Required: Personal qualities should include empathy, flexibility, and an interest in ongoing learning.
Demonstrated organizational talent and ability to prioritize tasks.
Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills. English is required, but
additional languages would be an asset.
Ability to work both independently and with a team.
Access to a personal vehicle and proof of a valid Driver's License are required.
Skills Gained/Related Careers: Skills gained applicable to careers in health care, education, social work and related fields.

Expenses, including mileage, are reimbursed.
Age: 18-30, 31-54, 55+
Time Commitment: Weekend
Saturday daytime shifts are available starting at 4 hours/week. Training provided and expenses reimbursed.
