We partnered with Canadian Museum for Human Rights (CMHR) to highlight important organizations in need of volunteers. Organizations were in Bonnie & John Buhler Hall (at the CMHR) to showcase their volunteer opportunities. Guests could explore volunteering in wildlife preservation, literacy, international development, youth mentorship, health care, the arts and much more.

This event took place during National Volunteer Week, an opportunity to celebrate volunteers who donate their time to important causes. It was also an opportunity to invite more people to consider volunteering in a time of great need. According to Volunteer Canada, 65% of organizations in Canada are struggling to find volunteers and 35% have had to reduce their services due to the shortage (source).
