Sharing your message, and understanding how to tell your story is the foundation of strong communication. Knowing your story and how to share it concisely is the best way to earn quality media coverage when you need to raise awareness. Veteran journalist and consultant, Nicole Dubé, founder of Dubé Media Inc, is going to show you how to leverage the media to your advantage. In this three hour workshop, you'll learn all about the media and what the media landscape looks for in 2024. You'll see how to develop your key messages, what to include in a media pitch, and how to prepare for interviews. You'll gain confidence in your ability to speak about your organization to the public and to reporters.

- Media 101 - who is "the media" and why they want to hear from you.
- Key message crafting - What you need to convey in an interview and how to do it
- Question practice - in the interactive workshop, you'll practice how to answer common media questions using your key messages
- Bridging - learn this important tool to stay on brand!
- Pitching - Walk away with a story to pitch and the appropriate wording to get it read by media.
