Through our community outreach activities, we connect with people on the benefits of volunteerism. We provide presentations on community engagement and how to find the right volunteer opportunity to classrooms, community groups and organizations for youth ages 13-29. This program is sponsored by Canada Life.
These presentations are tailored to suit your classroom and can include the following topics:
- Individual benefits of giving back to your community
- How volunteerism develops job skills
- Benefits to the community
- How to create your own community project
- Student scholarships and bursaries
- Accessing high school volunteer credits

Volunteer Manitoba is once again delighted to partner with post-secondary institutions from across the province to host our Annual Student Recruitment Fairs.
Join us this fall when we visit 9 different Universities and Colleges all across Manitoba to connect with enthusiastic students who are eager to make a positive impact in their communities! By participating in these events, you'll have the opportunity to showcase your organization's mission, values, and the remarkable work you do, while also identifying individuals who share your passion and are willing to contribute their time and skills.

Booths are available on a first come, first served basis. Registration includes a table, 2 chairs, coffee / tea and a snack.
