| Organizational Description: | Extra Life (extra-life.org) is an official program of the Children's Miracle Network, Extra Lifers in Manitoba (extralifewpg.com) fundraise for the Children's Hospital Foundation of Manitoba. We have official support from CHFM and work with dedicated representatives at the hospital foundation. We play video games, board games, table-top RPGs, etc to raise money. Participants in Extra Life do individual or team fundraising. Extra Life Winnipeg Guild members go above and beyond - our group attends and hosts community engagement events to promote awareness of Extra Life, encourage sign-ups, and run fundraising activities. |

| Description of Duties: | The Extra Life Winnipeg Guild (extralifewpg.com) raises funds for the Children's Hospital Foundation of Manitoba by playing games (video games, board games, TTRPGs, etc), participating in community outreach and fundraising activities at local events. Extra Life Winnipeg is hosting an event, Extra Life North, in August 2026 and is looking for a short graphic design & illustration volunteer engagement to create collateral for the event. This is a one-time engagement, but can also evolve into an ongoing volunteer opportunity for interested individuals. Duties include: - Create a cohesive brand for "Extra Life North", including a logo and font selections (keeping in mind the existing Extra Life brand guidelines, which will be supplied) - Fundraising t-shirt design (will require an illustration component to design a gaming character(s) - previous year's t-shirt was a one colour screen print featuring a beaver with a D20 & a Canadian goose with an Xbox controller) - 1 x promotional poster template (8.5 x 11) - 2 - 3 x social media ad templates, in a variety of standard sizes for Facebook and Instagram (event sponsor feature, general promotion, activity highlight, etc) - 1 x Computer desktop wallpaper - 1 x Name badge template - 1 x Generic Microsoft Word sign template (8.5 x 11) We would ask that any working files be supplied in case we need to do any last minute additions after the volunteer engagement has been completed.
