Fundraiser Event Volunteer Committee

Accommodations Winnipeg is organizing a community fundraiser to help provide safe, stable housing for individuals facing homelessness and housing insecurity in our city. We're bringing together a team of dedicated volunteers to help make this event a success.

The volunteer committee will take on a range of tasks - from event planning and fundraising to outreach and day-of coordination. Whether you'd like to help secure sponsors, sell tickets, assist with logistics, or lend a hand at the event itself, your contribution will directly support our mission to create welcoming homes for Winnipeg's most vulnerable residents.

  A desire to make a difference for people experiencing homelessness or housing insecurity, including women, seniors, and youth.



• 
  

  Basic organizational and people skills are an asset.



• 
  

  Enthusiasm for community work and teamwork.



• 
  

  Must reside in Manitoba and have an email address.



• 
  

  Out-of-town supporters can participate through sponsorships, donations, or making outreach calls. Maybe Graphics work.

• 
  

  Event planning and coordination experience.



• 
  

  Team collaboration and leadership skills.



• 
  

  Community outreach and fundraising experience.



• 
  

  Insight into Winnipeg's housing and homelessness issues.

• 
  

  Committee meetings once every one to two weeks (evenings or weekends).

  Increased involvement leading up to the event.

  Half-day commitment on the event day (up to around midnight).



• 
  

  Additional opportunities for volunteers who wish to sell tickets, gather donations, or promote the event.
