Description of Duties:

Institute of Public Administration of Canada (IPAC) Manitoba is reaching out to share an exciting volunteering opportunity for you to make an impact in the public sector community.


Our mission is to strive for inclusivity and believe that better public policy emerges when everyone has a voice. We rely on the passion of members who give their time and expertise on the board and committees, and those who contribute in other ways to advance the discourse on and practice of public administration. We do this by working closely with all levels of government to promote quality public services and practices. Your support is much appreciated.


IPAC MB is pleased to announce that our 2024 National Annual Conference is going to be held in Winnipeg at the RBC Convention Centre on October 2-4, 2024.


We are currently looking for various volunteers for this event.

   
Skills Required:

  • Have interest in public administration and current affairs.

Flexible Hours

We only require a minimum commitment of half-day for one of the days of the event: October 2, 3, and 4, 2024.


Volunteers available for all days of the event would be highly sought but not mandatory.


Training is mandatory and will be held remotely via Zoom in the evening. Specific date and time will be announced to chosen volunteers. Target will be 3rd week of September.


The event is located at RBC Convention Centre where the volunteering will be held.
