Description of Duties:

The Senior Program Facilitator is responsible for implementing and managing programs and services at Golden Rule Seniors Resource Centre.
The main duties include:



  • Coordinate with activity facilitators to ensure all preparations are in place for a successful and fulfilling program that meets participants' needs.

  • Provide technical support during activities, utilizing technology to enhance engagement and accessibility for seniors.

  • Collect feedback and maintain ongoing communication with participants to ensure their satisfaction with the programs.

  • Collaborate with the Program Coordinator to deliver essential operational support, ensuring the smooth execution of all programs.

  • Register participants and take attendance for each activity.

   
Skills Required:

  • Ability to clearly convey information and instructions to participants and facilitators.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and activities, ensuring all programs run smoothly.

  • Ability to create a welcoming and inclusive environment for all participants.

  • A genuine interest in working with seniors and understanding their unique needs and challenges.

  • Collaborate with the Program Coordinator to deliver essential operational support, ensuring the smooth execution of all programs.
