| Description of Duties: | To perform in the role of a Ukrainian guardian of the forest, making brief appearances during an outdoor forest theatre performance. No script dialogue is required and cues will be provided. |
| Skills Required: | This character is a tall male figure of middle age and East European description. This role requires skills and experience with theatre, film or improv acting. Knowledge of Ukrainian culture is a valuable asset. Assistance with the character's costume design is required. The volunteer must have thier own transportation. |
| Skills Gained/Related Careers: | This event is anticipated to become an annual Manitoba event for National Forest Week. The volunteer will gain: - experience performing in a character role for consideration in an upcoming film production. - photos and video clips for their acting portfolio - acknowledgement on the website of an upcoming film production. |

| Time Commitment: | Daytime , Evening , Weekend The Producer will make arrangements to meet at the set location in Bird's Hill Provincial Park for orientation, planning and rehearsal. The volunteer must be on site for 7:00pm, Thursday, September 26th for set lighting check and rehearsal. The volunteer must be on site for 5:30pm, Friday, September 27th for final check. The performance will begin at 7:00pm to 8:30pm and the volunteer will be required to remain on site for 30 minutes following the performance to accomodate requests for photos and videography. |
