| Description of Duties: | Plug In ICA is seeking enthusiastic volunteers to help with our Prairie Art Book Fair from September 13-15! Volunteers may be assigned different duties depending on their preferred volunteering schedule (afternoon or the evening shift). |
| Skills Required: | Customer service skills would be an asset, punctual, organised, friendly, strong work ethic, able to lift up to 40 lbs, able to stand for long periods of time, interest in the arts |
| Skills Gained/Related Careers: | Volunteers will get experience in seeing how a non-profit art gallery organizes and executes a larger scale event, develop a deeper sense of customer service as they communicate with the public, as well as building connections and networking within the art community. |
| Age: | 18-30, 31-54, 55+ |
| Time Commitment: | Daytime , Evening , Weekend , Flexible Hours Hours are flexible, volunteers are able to choose their own availability, though Plug In would appreciate as much help as they're able to provide. Volunteers are needed all 3 days of the book fair (Sept 13-15). Further details will be provided upon emailing interest in opportunity. |
