Description of Duties:

Multiple positions available:


Set-Up, Check-In/Registration, Coat/Gear Check, Race Marshalls (walking & bike riding positions), Water Station Attendants, First Aid/Medical Personnel, Post-Run BBQ Food Helper, Medal Distributors, Clean-Up, etc

   
Skills Required:

Skills required vary depending on the role:


Set-Up - early start, punctual, organized, willingness to help, good communication skills


Check-In/Registration, Coat/Gear Check - organized, attention to detail, honest, reliable, great communication skills, welcoming personality


Race Marshalls (walking & bike riding positions) - Bike Marshalls need own bike with helmet, able to be active for duration of race, personable, able to encourage/cheer on participants, good communication skills, positive disposition


Water Station Attendants - positive disposition, hand-eye coordination, organized, good communication skills, able to encourage/cheer on participants


First Aid/Medical Personnel - certified in First Aid & CPR, relative work-experience preferred, confident and capable of performing first aid or cpr if needed, compassion


Post-Run BBQ Food Helper - Food Handler's Certificate preferred, must be clean, organized, reliable, great communication skills, personable, able to follow health food guidelines


Medal Distributors - personable, positive disposition, enthusiastic


Clean-Up - perform actions safely, physically capable of picking up refuse, willingness to help

Each position will require approximately 1-2 hours of volunteer time.
