| Description of Duties: | What you can do! FGWRC is currently in the process of looking for group or businesses in the area who would be willing to help them: • Be a hub to collect nonperishable (non expired) food items starting November 25th; • Promote this important cause and; • Drop off all items collected to 1150-A Waverley Street location on December 11th.

| Skills Required: | As you may know, The 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-based Violence is an annual international campaign that begins on November 25, the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women, and goes until December 10, Human Rights Day. This campaign started in 1991 to call out and speak up on gender-based violence, and to renew our commitment to ending violence against women, girls, and 2SLGBTQI+ individuals. To support this important cause, FGWRC will be holding a holiday food drive over the course of the 16 days of Activism (November 25th - December 10th) to provide their clients in crisis situations with emergency food provisions for themselves and their families this holiday season. |
