| Description of Duties: | We aim to offer one on one water safety instruction to children with exceptional needs who are unable to participate in traditional swimming lesson programming. Volunteer instructors will be paired up with a swimmer for a 30 min lesson which will be structured to each individual swimmer. Our lessons run for 1.5 hours on Saturdays and Sundays starting in January. |
| Skills Required: | There is no previous water safety instruction experience necessary to volunteer but ability to swim is a requirement. We ask that our volunteers are over the age of 16. |

| Time Commitment: | Weekend University of Manitoba Location : Saturdays from 4-5:30pm for 10 weeks. Elmwood Kildonan Location: Saturdays from 5-6:30pm for 10 weeks. St. James Civic Centre Location: Saturdays from 4-5:30pm for 10 weeks. Rady JCC Location: Sundays from 1-2:30pm for 10 weeks. |
