Description of Duties:

Strategic Collaboration: Work closely with the CEO to strategize and implement the Access to Therapy Initiative's objectives within Manitoba.

Operational Oversight: Oversee the daily functions of the organization's Manitoba operations, ensuring alignment with our mission and strategic goals.

Team Dynamics: Lead volunteer recruitment, management, and motivation efforts, creating an environment of productivity and collaboration.

Stakeholder Engagement: Establish and maintain relationships with practitioners, corporate sponsors, and other key stakeholders in Manitoba.

Resource Mobilization: Spearhead fundraising efforts, pursue provincial grant opportunities, and drive financial sustainability for the Manitoba operations.

Awareness and Outreach: Promote the organization's presence through various marketing, public relations, and digital outreach efforts.

Group Communication: Remain active and involved in the organization's WhatsApp group chat, ensuring consistent communication and momentum.

It's imperative to understand that while this position reports directly to the CEO, the COO will work in close collaboration with the board. Skills Required:

Prior leadership or managerial experience, preferably in the nonprofit sector.

Exceptional networking and relationship-building abilities.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

A deep passion for mental health and the overarching vision of the Access to Therapy Initiative.

Familiarity with Manitoba's healthcare, community landscapes, and nonprofit regulations.

Digital literacy, including proficiency in using communication tools like WhatsApp.
