| Organizational Description: | The Chalet Malouin is a non-profit organization for seniors 55+ that is located in the St. Malo community. The Chalet Malouin has 85 affordable independent, assisted living and supportive housing suites that are available to low-income and vulnerable seniors. The goals of Chalet Malouin are: - To create a home which allows its tenants to remain independent as long as possible; - To create a cost-effective way of delivering assisted living services; and - To maintain and promote independence for tenants. The Chalet Malouin offers a meal program for our residents and residents living in St.Malo and surrounding areas. We have a Doctor, Hairdresser and Chapel on site. The Chalet also offers weekly activities for the seniors. The Chalet Malouin is governed by a Board of Directors. |
