Skills Required: | ONLINE/REMOTE All You Can Volunteer with Family and Friends: Digital Civic Engagement for Youths and CANConnect Micro-grants for Immigrant and Refugee Youths Funded in part by Employment and Social Development Canada (ESDC), GLOCAL Foundation of Canada is thrilled to announce two exciting youth programs: 1. National Youth Service Network Program (NYSN): Our new and innovative ONLINE VOLUNTEERING program enables Canadian youth to engage in remote volunteering with 500+ peers nationwide, at their own pace. CANConnect Diversity Micro-grants for Youths in Canada: These grants provide opportunities for youths to design and produce research, short videos, or digital projects that promote civic engagement in Canada. Skills Gained/Related Careers: | The successful candidate will volunteer with the executive team of the Foundation. Ongoing support will be offered to ensure holistic development of the volunteer in capacities relevant to the position. A weekly meeting will be scheduled for the volunteer to receive support and direction, as well as targeted opportunities and guidance for personal growth and development, such as future career planning. We aim to make this a comprehensive learning experience for the volunteers. |
