| Volunteer Opportunity Details | |
| Description of Duties: | Kidsfest is seeking volunteers to help make the festival a success! Volunteer positions include: Box Office: Sell festival passes, exchange vouchers for wristbands and provide Festival program information. Cash handling experience is preferred and good people skills are essential. Electronic debit and credit card systems are also used. Environment: Help keep the Festival site free of garbage, clean and beautiful. Activation Supervision: Supervise and engage children in play with interactive activations such as crafting, simple games, balance beam, etc. House Ushers: For fire and safety reasons, strollers and wagons are not permitted inside performer tents and must be parked in designated areas outside the tents. Good people skills and a firm but friendly manner are needed to ensure Festival goers park strollers and wagons and find seating in the tents. Ushers must also keep tent entranceways and fire lanes clear inside the tents and pick up any litter between the shows. Transportation: Provide transportation for performers to and from the airport and between the hotel and the Festival site. A valid driver's license and abstract approval are required. Volunteer Floater: Floaters are versed in all volunteer positions and may cover positions for last-minute cancellations, breaks, etc. |
