| Description of Duties: | The Board of Directors is responsible for: - Determining the mission and purpose of the organization - Selecting and evaluating the performance of the Executive Director - Strategic and organizational planning - Ensuring strong fiduciary oversight and financial management - Approving and monitoring Volunteer Manitoba's programs and services - Enhancing Volunteer Manitoba's public image - Available to attend evening meetings |
| Skills Required: | -Experience as a Board Director in a governance role -Experience in fundraising, marketing, promotions or grant applications -Donor recruitment, retention, and relations experience -Identifies as indigenous, or has experience working with indigenous community members or organizations -Experience working with community based non profit organizations -Willingness and availability to participate in sub committees. |
