| Volunteer Opportunity Details | |
| Description of Duties: | -Welcome patients attending appointments, provide basic assistance with forms -Inform and guide patients through online Canada Dental Benefit application -Scanning and filing |
| Skills Required: | -Previous experience in a clinic setting an asset -Comfortable with approaching people from different cultures and backgrounds in a friendly, supportive manner -Physically able to perform tasks, must be able to be on one's feet for 3 - 4 hours -Ability to follow directions and keen attention to details -Ability to understand, give direction and express oneself in English in a clear, concise manner -Ability to lead people through a process -Conscientious, calming -Sensitive to diverse cultures and socio-economic backgrounds |

| Time Commitment: | Daytime Successful applicants will be assigned one shift weekly, 9:00 to 12:00, between Monday and Friday with option to volunteer additional shifts. A minimum commitment of 6 months preferred. |
