Volunteer Opportunity Details
Description of Duties: On June 24th and 25th, Prairie Performance Triathlon is hosting the 26th St. Malo Triathlon at St. Malo Provincial Park. Located less than an hour from Winnipeg, the event has welcomed athletes from coast to coast to coast. Athletes and volunteers continue to return to the St. Malo Triathlon due to its history, location and friendly atmosphere.

In order to provide a safe and enjoyable athlete experience, we need over 100 volunteers throughout the weekend helping out with all aspects of the race - swim, bike and run. The end goal is to get our athletes across the finish line!

The adult races will be held on Saturday, June 24th. From swim course paddlers to directing cyclists to handing out water to runners and more, there is a job that will suit everyone. No matter what you choose, the enthusiastic atmosphere will keep you energized all morning long!

On Sunday, June 25th, St. Malo Triathlon features Kids of Steel races. Why not sign up to be a water wader? Or be the person to give the kids their finishers medal as they cross the finish line? No matter what role you choose, we promise you'll have a smile on your face all day!

And of course there are perks to volunteering with us! Everyone who volunteers for the Saturday race receives a free St Malo 2023 t-shirt, coffee and snacks all morning long, entrance into the volunteer draw prizes AND a hot catered lunch delivered right to the park during our post-race celebration. Sunday volunteers receive morning snacks and coffee, as well as a post-race ice cream treat!
