| Organizational Description: | We are looking for a group of volunteers to come in Friday- Mondays to do some activities with our seniors here at amber meadow, this place is an assisted/ independent place where our seniors love to do activities such as Bingo, bowling, painting, bocce ball and lots more! We need a kind and out going person to work with our residents! We would only ask for a minimum of 1 and a half hours day for an activity |

| Volunteer Opportunity Details | |
| Description of Duties: | Doing activities for at least an hour, coordinate with Brooke on when you are available and if for some reason cant make it, just let her know. Learning new games if you don't know them, spending time teaching a resident the game, and interacting with everyone. Leading an exercise class if available (This would be the most important roll to be filled). |
| Skills Required: | MUST be a kind, outgoing and loving person. Must be able to communicate with the seniors in order to build connections. Up to learning new skills if required. Being able to complete assigned game for the day. Being able to teach a seated exercise class for half an hour once for twice a day. |
| Skills Gained/Related Careers: | Skills being gained is better communication, a better understanding of what its like to work in an assisted/ Independent living home. Read into the seniors head and learn how dementia/ or any other struggles our residents are dealing with can affect their everyday life. |
