Volunteer Opportunity Details | |
Description of Duties: | Taking monthly minutes at board meetings. Meetings are held on zoom and recorded. Minutes must be done in a weeks time and kept confidential. |
Skills Required: | Good listening skills, with the ability to pick out the important details. Typing and writing skills are an asset. Knowledge/understanding of virtual/hybrid meetings over zoom Previous minute taking experience or having served on a board or a minute taker course |
Skills Gained/Related Careers: | Minute taking Learning how a board functions Learning how a non profit organization functions/works Gain awareness of various communication methods |
Age: | 18-30, 31-54, 55+ |
Time Commitment: | Daytime, Evening Meetings currently are held from 2-4pm. |
