| Volunteer Opportunity Details | |
| Description of Duties: | Volunteer Tour Guides will lead groups of adults or children on scripted tours through The Leaf, Zoo or gardens. Tour Guides will start as Ambassadors and then move on to additional training which includes Core Program Training followed by site specific training. Volunteers will share their knowledge and enthusiasm about animals, plants and conservation with a variety of groups. |
| Skills Required: | - Confidence in speaking in front of small groups - Ability to communicate fluently in English - Ability to walk easily on a variety of surfaces or to use mobility aides on a variety of surfaces |
