| Volunteer Opportunity Details | |
| Description of Duties: | - Provide lived experience awareness on accessibility, disability issues and disability culture. - Represent the organization for a term of one year in which time they will attend a number of scheduled functions during the year. - Visit with events participants, corporate sponsors and the general public while participating in public speaking and media interviews. - Attend meetings/presentations/trade shows to help raise awareness for Manitobans with disabilities and Manitoba Possible. |
| Skills Required: | - Manitoban with a lived experience of disability - A past or present client of Manitoba Possible - Passionate about equality, positive representation, and a barrier-free community - Confident speaking in a large groups, to the media and at public events - Someone who reaches to their potential everyday in school or work and in the community |
