Volunteer Opportunity Details | |
Description of Duties: | Depending on the shift you could be responsible for the following -Prepare Lunches -Greet Community Members and offer coffee or tea -Run the Market selling low-cost food to the community |
Skills Required: | - Kitchen experience is an asset - Friendly and outgoing - Caring and Compassionate - Able to lift 25 lbs - Punctual - Able to commit to one or two shifts per week |
Skills Gained/Related Careers: | Volunteers will gain kitchen and hospitality experience for careers in the Food Industry |
Age: | 18-30, 31-54, 55+ |
Time Commitment: | Daytime -Monday 1:00 pm - 3:30 pm (Assist with drop-ins) - Tuesday 10:00 am - 12:30 pm (Prepare Community Lunch) 12:30 - 3:30 pm (assist with drop-ins) - Wednesday 12:30 - 3:30 pm(assist with drop-ins) - Thursday 10:00 am - 12:30 pm (Prepare Kid's lunches) 1:30 - 4:30 pm (Help with Market in the afternoon). |
