| Description of Duties: | The Epic Opportunities Foundation is a registered charity focused on supporting and promoting the work of Epic Opportunities Inc. Epic Opportunities Inc. empowers people with intellectual and developmental disabilities to thrive in everyday life by providing holistic support and building inclusive communities. We are searching for individuals who may be interested in volunteering on our board of directors. The Epic Opportunities Foundation Board is responsible for the governance of the organization. Working with the Executive Director to develop and implement a strategic plan for the Foundation Overseeing the work of the Foundation Ensuring that the organization is carrying out its mission Monitoring the organization's financial health and overall capacity Providing professional assistance as required by the organization, determined by Board decision, or Executive Director request Supporting The Epic Opportunities Foundation's events (For g., Fundraising events, Annual General Meeting, Promotional Events) Paying the annual membership fee of $15 (The Epic Opportunities Foundation's by-laws require that all board of directors must be members) |
