Volunteer Opportunity Details | |
Description of Duties: | -Answer phones and provide peer support -Provide judgement free support, act as a friend -Offer resources when needed -This position is remote at this time |
Skills Required: | -Listen with patience and compassion -Understanding -Active listening |
Skills Gained/Related Careers: | Social skills, peer support skills, community support, opportunities for mental health training, and transferrable skills (communication, taking care of yourself, etc.) |
Age: | 18-30, 31-54, 55+ |
Time Commitment: | Evening, Weekend Mondays 9 am to 1 pm Wednesdays 9 am to 1 pm Wednesdays 5 pm to 9 pm Thursdays 5 pm to 9 pm Saturdays 1 pm to 5 pm Sundays 1 pm to 5 pm |
