| Organizational Description: | The Koru Centre Inc. is a newly founded nonprofit organization with the mission to bring freedom and healing to survivors of sexual violence through community efforts that does not discriminate based on age, job, economics status, sex, race, gender or religion. We are a centre that supports survivors at every point in their healing journey, may it be at the beginning or later on. We aim to be a community support to be there for survivors who are dealing with their personal trauma. We also aim to be a support for the secondary victims of sexual violence, these being parents, friends, partners and loved ones of survivors. |

| Volunteer Opportunity Details | |
| Description of Duties: | While the Research Assistant's (RA) duties may vary, at this time we are looking for somebody who will assist our organization's website information and access to statistics and facts for our social media pages. The RA will be responsible for finding accurate, up-to-date Canadian-based information on the topic of sexual assault. In order to consider your application please submit your resume, one reference and a writing sample from an academic paper. |
