| Volunteer Opportunity Details | |
| Description of Duties: | We are seeking board members to be part of the dynamic team at Alpha House. Alpha House is a long-term program for women and their children leaving an abusive relationship. Alpha House is a non-profit, charitable organization. Some of the duties include: -Attending monthly board meetings. Typically the third Wednesday evening of each month from 6-8pm. -fundraising- willingness to assist with the coordination of fundraisers. -willingness to assist or take on projects to help Alpha House -a commitment to working as part of a team |
| Skills Required: | 1. Communications/Social Media: Desire to support and provide knowledge and experience through support of your communications and social media skills and experience. 2. Social/Community Advisor: Desire to support and provide knowledge through support of your experiences as a community member, leader, teacher or elder. |
| Skills Gained/Related Careers: | We are seeking individuals with a background in Graphic Design/Communications/Social Media and Social/Community Advisor/knowledge Keeper. |
