Volunteer Opportunity Details | |
Description of Duties: | Sara Riel is looking for someone who can: - Welcoming all participants, visitors and invited guests - Attending to participants' questions and concerns - ensuring all visitors are accounted for (signed in and out) - Directing participants to the right office, training room or waiting area - Maintaining privacy and confidentiality at all times - coordinate with counselors and social workers on constant basis |
Skills Required: | - Some skills with sending emails and reading emails is preferred, but training will be provided. - Great interpersonal skills - good spoken and written English and/or French - welcoming personality to make the client feel welcomed |
Skills Gained/Related Careers: | - Some crisis intervention training and tips will be provided - Computer skill training for the use of email and Outlook calendar - Receptionist / Front desk training and skills will be obtained through this role - Peer training and NVCI training can be provided in the future - A reference for employment can be provided with satisfactory performance, such as reliability and punctuality - suitable for people trying to fulfill volunteer hours and other |

Time Commitment: | Daytime, Evening Shifts are during working hours between 8:30 am - 4:3 pm Monday to Friday. Each shift is 4 hours. |
