Volunteer Opportunity Details
Description of Duties: To oversee the scientific accuracy and use of the best horticultural practices in articles submitted for publication in our annual book.
Candidate is expected to write at least one article each year on topics in horticulture of interest to prairie gardeners
Skills Required: An educational background in biological sciences or horticulture
Good writing skills
Skills Gained/Related Careers: Awareness and experience in the use of the latest horticulture practices for prairie gardens
Age: 31-54, 55+
Time Commitment: Evening
A minimum of 2 hours per month to attend meetings Extra time requirements will vary as articles are submitted for publication
