Description of Duties: Summer Youth Program Assistant

Job Type: Volunteer Position
Job Duration: 1 month/3 Months Term Position.
Job Schedule: Morning, Afternoon, and evening shift.
Job Location: Virtual, In-person, Hybrid.

We are seeking to hire a Program Assistant for our Bible & Skills Club. This is a youth who is interested in making a difference in the life of younger kids this summer! Would you like to impact your knowledge and godly values to better prepare kids for the community and their future? Skills Club for Kids project is organized by God's Family Church Inc. and funded by the Manitoba Green Team Program gives you the opportunity to do just that.
- Attend the orientation and any necessary training for the job.
- Lead/coordinate/teach kids and teens virtually or in person.
- Experience in children and youth activities is an asset
- Able to conduct/coordinate a virtual class through ZOOM or Microsoft Teams.
- Play games and fun activities with kids and teens.
- Assist in publicizing the event to kids/teens through social media.
- Love kids and be friendly to them while impacting knowledge or being a role model.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Perform other duties as may be assigned
Skills Required: Qualification & Skills
- Youth aged 15 to 29 years, resident in Manitoba and legally entitled to work in Canada.
- Must have a valid Social Insurance Number.
- Youth aged 15 years must have a certificate of completion for the Young Worker Readiness Certificate course which they can take on-line at:,young-workers,factsheet.html
