| Volunteer Opportunity Details | |
| Description of Duties: | - Facilitate weekly online conversation group via zoom o Send weekly emails and zoom links o Ensure volunteers are available and present for conversation group on weekly basis o Prepare topics and activities for each week o Introduce topic and activities to LPP group each session - Recruit and onboard new volunteers - With Student Life Coordinator, assist ELP to provide both in person and online options for LPP. - Other duties as required/assigned |
| Skills Required: | - Native or Fluent English speaker with university level reading and writing skills. - Previous experience with English as a second language learners - Be dependable and punctual - Be self-directed, willing to take initiative, and detail oriented |
| Skills Gained/Related Careers: | Upon completing one year, honorarium will be provided Reference letter Valuable teaching and group leadership experience for your resume knowledge that you are providing ELP students with the opportunity to practice new skills and build relationships. |

| Time Commitment: | Daytime Once per week for three total hours - Approximately two hours of preparation and communication to students/volunteers - Approximately one hour of conversation group facilitation online |
