| Description of Duties: | We are back!! After a 2 year hiatus and we are looking for volunteers!! The Fringe Festival is Winnipeg's annual theatre festival that takes place in Winnipeg's Downtown and Exchange district. Theatre groups from around the city, across the country, and all over the world flock to Winnipeg making it the second largest Fringe in North America! The Fringe relies on more than 800 dedicated and enthusiastic volunteers to make the festival happen. We're looking for Fringe team members who are able to volunteer for a minimum of four shifts (about 4-6 hours each) over the 12 day festival |
| Skills Required: | We are able to find volunteer positions for people of every skill level, but we mostly look for positive and friendly people to help us run the festival. Our main volunteer roles at the Fringe Festival include: - Selling tickets and ushering for shows - Helping to keep drinks flowing in our beverage pavilions - Facilitating fun with our little fringers at Kids Fringe - Answering patron's questions, and keeping the festival tidy and organized! |
