| Volunteer Opportunity Details | |
| Description of Duties: | Join our passionate sport community! The VP Finance: Develops and implements policies and procedures for the effective receiving, distribution, investing and expending of financial resources. Develops annual budget and four year financial forecast for RGM. Reviews annual budgets, long term financial forecasts, and actual expenditures of programs. Provides written report to the Annual General Meeting. Is a voting member of the Board of Directors. |
| Skills Required: | Proven track record of success with financial and accounting reporting systems. Communication and leadership skills while working with other stakeholders to oversee an organization's operations. |
| Skills Gained/Related Careers: | Accountant Gain experience in the not-for-profit and sports sector. Network with other professionals and alumni. |

| Time Commitment: | Evening In addition to the Board meetings, be prepared to attend Executive Committee meetings as required plus individual preparation time. Attending meetings virtually is possible. |
