Volunteer Opportunity Details
Description of Duties: The job of the Board is to lead the organization toward the desired performance and ensure that that performance occurs. The Board's specific contributions are unique to its trusteeship role and necessary for proper governance and management.

Board members willingly contribute their expertise to further the mission of our organization.

Attend and actively participate in Board meetings and participate in the activities of at least one Board committee. Board members are also required to read and respond to all correspondence and read Board pre-meeting materials and come to meetings prepared to discuss any issues at hand.

Board members are expected to attend 2 hour meetings monthly, except July and August. The board meets alternate months with committees. Board members are expected to be on a least one committee. There is occasional ad-hoc work between meetings.
