| Organizational Description: | Fearless R2W is a non profit that serves parents working to reunify with their children and youth aging out of care. We provide opportunities for learning about child welfare in Manitoba, build community and provide advocacy when possible. We are a Circle of Support because we value each other as one family and encourage everyone to find and share their gifts with us. We believe that it is all of our responsibility to take care of all of the children all of the time. |

| Volunteer Opportunity Details | |
| Description of Duties: | Fearless R2W is seeking volunteers willing to work with and support our families as a case manager. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: 1. Leverage training to help families navigate systems such as EIA and CFS. 2. Aid families in completion of consent forms and paperwork 3. Supervise CFS family visits for families (allows more opportunities for the family). 4. Participate in Wednesday night meetings in support of our families. 5. Work alongside the Fearless R2W members, board and educational institutions on research projects. |
| Skills Required: | - Having an interest in supporting parents navigating the child welfare system. - Believe in our values and want to see families together. - Good written and verbal communication skills. - Interest in developing experience in case work and social supports. - Must have a working knowledge of Indigenous issues; or, actively learning about them. - We strongly encourage Indigenous persons to apply. |
