We Got This Canada is a non-profit organization working with a mission to help families experiencing food insecurity. We are looking for a Director Merchandize that will develop the merchandising team to maximize efficiency and ensure effective placement of products, find the product to sell at the most comparative pricing, for the most profitable margin and build strong and lasting relationships with our retail, professional and commercial customers which will enable We Got this Canada Org (WGTC) to achieve its goals.

You will be responsible for:

Motivate and influence sales performance with positive feedback and recognition
Has a high sense of drive; able to set priorities and deliver results within deadlines and ability to remain calm in stressful situations
Retail management and sales experience in the support industry an asset
Exemplary listening, communication and interpersonal skills
Provide leadership in the strategy, planning, and execution of the organization's marketing efforts to support revenue generation, brand awareness, and community engagement
Conducts market research, defines target audiences and determines the appropriate media channels for different brand messages.
Collaborates across the organization to ensure the brand standards, messaging and style guidelines are consistent across all marketing channels and collateral.
Integrate multiple sources of data into business strategies and processes, with a focus on developing the merchandise and eCommerce platforms.
Partner closely with the teams to achieve organization's collective goals
Ensure that the organization's priorities are well represented in the Marketing plans and that they support the Vision and Strategy of the organization
Skills Required: Skills & Competencies:

An analytical mindset to identify marketing opportunities at every level
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to write clear, structured, and persuasive proposals quickly to meet internal and external deadlines Entrepreneurship - an ability to make decisions and take calculated risks
Working closely to develop the ecommerce capabilities, to plan presentation of monthly product assortments for optimal brand presentation and to drive sales
Strong knowledge of local businesses and a good balance between creative and analytical skills to create a catalogue of items that will positively impact the bottom line
Ability to prioritize, organize, manage multiple tasks to meet specific deadlines, and readjust priorities as changes happen
Proactively gathers, analyzes and drives insight from local market knowledge and competitive landscape across all channels.
Ability to build a team, motivate and inspire others

Skills Gained/Related Careers: Qualifications and Education Requirements

Bachelor's (Preferred)
Marketing or advertising: 1 year (Preferred)
Cross functional experience in several Merchandising functions and channels
Age: 17 and under, 18-30, 31-54, 55+
Time Commitment: Daytime, Evening, Weekend
